Yoga for Every-Body with Sybil Gouchie - For All Levels - This class offers simple poses for those just beginning their yoga practice. Throughout the 1 hour session, we will gently move through the transitions from several poses to awake your body, mind and spirit. Mats, blocks, and straps provided so all you need to bring is yourself and an open mind! Class is open to all levels. Modifications provided for those with limitations. This class will help you gain the knowledge of the names of the poses and how to safely and comfortably move from one pose to the next. Both men and women are encouraged to join, 16 years and over.

Hatha Yoga with Sybil Gouchie - A Kripalu based class teaching classic yoga postures with awareness of correct alignment. Each class begins with centering on breath (pranayama) allowing you to turn inward and focus on the experience of the body & breath (meditation). Gentle warm-up stretches follow and move into a variety of yoga postures (asanas). The postures will challenge the body & mind through stretching, relaxing and breathing while holding the postures. Postures and holding times will be tailored according to fitness level of the class. This practice helps train the mind to be focused, alert and composed. Class ends with a lying out relaxation incorporating affirmations or guided relaxation. You will leave class feeling balanced, relaxed and energized.


Mid Day Flow with Sybil Gouchie - Perfect for those who are challenged to fit yoga into a busy schedule. Warm-up, breath, move, and stretch. This is a 50 minute class includes all elements of a classical yoga class. Focus is on back, hips and shoulders range of motion, health, strengthening & stretching these vital areas.

Simply Restorative Yoga with Sybil Gouchie - For All levels including beginners and those with limitations -gentle practice benefits the bodies overall health and well-being. Class combines self-care techniques, gentle & supported poses, conscious breathing and meditation. Deep restorative work stretches and opens the body, improves posture, range of motion, and joint mobility. Reduces pain, muscle tension, and the effects of stress. Brings relief from fatigue and insomnia and prepares us for a full, restful night’s sleep. Blankets, bolsters, straps, and blocks will be provided. Balances & grounds us in life. Limited to 15.


Yoga Hike with Sybil Gouchie - This 75 minute class is being held at Beaver Lake Nature Center. All participants must pre-register by phoning Beaver Lake at 315-638-8742 or Email BLNC@ongov.net. We will begin outside the Visitor Center for warm-ups and centering on breath. Participants will then follow the instructor on the easy hike with several pauses at specific locations for standing yoga poses, breathing practice, meditation, and awareness of nature. This class is perfect for all levels, including beginners. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. The class will be rescheduled if it rains. Limited to 15.

Yoga In The Great Outdoors with Sybil Gouchie - This 60 minute class is being held at Beaver Lake Nature Center All participants must pre-register by phoning Beaver Lake at 315-638-2519 or Email BLNC@ongov.net. This Hatha Yoga class is held on the lawn just outside the Visitor Center at the Gazebo. Reset your body, mind, and spirit with this gentle form of Hatha Yoga. Certified Yoga Teacher, Sybil Gouchie will guide us as we breathe, strengthen, stretch and connect to ourselves and the beauty of nature all around us. A perfect class for all levels including beginners! Bring a mat, towel or any props you prefer. If rain we will meet inside the Visitor Center. Limit to 20.

Yoga In The Park with Sybil Gouchie. - This 60 minute class is being held at Drakes Landing Park @ Glacier Ridge Road. Radisson Residence will get priority in registration but it is open to non-residence when space allows. Reset your mind, body and spirit with this gentle form of Hatha Yoga. Certified yoga teacher, Sybil Gouchie will guide us as we breathe, strengthen, stretch and connect with ourselves, and the beauty of nature all around us. This class is perfect for all levels including beginners. This is an adult class which allows mature children age 14+ with participating, parent or guardian.. Limited to 25. This class will be cancelled if Rain.

Yoga of 12 Step Recovery Y12SR with Certified Y12SR Space holder & Certified Yoga teacher Sybil Gouchie - Open to those seeking relief from addiction. Whether you are working to overcome your own addiction or are impacted by the addictive behavior of others, Y12SR Meetings are for YOU. This is an inclusive group open to All affected by addiction, their own or others. All A's are welcome. A 60 minute recovery themed yoga class followed by a 30 minute 12 Step Meeting. Beginners welcome. The benefits of yoga in recovery are stress reduction, anxiety reduction, reduction in cravings, insomnia prevention, and chronic pain reduction. This supportive class builds community & spiritual connection but is not a replacement for detox, therapy or regular 12 Step Meetings. Must be 24 hours abstinent from all mood altering substances. Donation based meeting to support the use of space and recovery in the community. Suggested donation $5 - $10
